Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility in Middleburg, Florida, where you will work in an outpatient clinic setting that is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology. Our facility is designed to deliver a welcoming and child-friendly atmosphere, ensuring that both patients and their families feel comfortable during visits. The typical work schedule is from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed to accommodate our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and regular check-ups and developmental screenings to assess children’s health and growth.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of common childhood illnesses and injuries, ensuring appropriate care is delivered promptly.
• Administer immunizations and provide preventive health care guidance to promote healthy childhood development.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for children with chronic illnesses, coordinating care with families and other healthcare providers.
• Educate parents and caregivers on important topics, including nutrition, growth milestones, and other child health-related matters.
• Document all patient interactions in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss patient outcomes and optimize treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be children, ranging from newborns to adolescents, who require comprehensive healthcare services. Collaboration with families is integral to promoting positive health outcomes. You will engage with a diverse patient population, addressing unique needs, and supporting family dynamics to foster a holistic health environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school.
• Current state medical license and board certification in Pediatrics are mandatory.
• Completion of a three-year residency in Pediatrics.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with children and their families.
• Strong diagnostic abilities combined with proficient problem-solving skills.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
• No prior board actions; ethical integrity is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a similar outpatient clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and pediatric medical practices.
• Previous community engagement or outreach work is a plus.
