Work Environment

The Pediatrician will work onsite at our Ponte Vedra Beach outpatient office, an inviting facility designed for comfort and efficiency. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 5PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts required to accommodate the needs of our patients. We prioritize team communication and collaboration, ensuring that our team members work seamlessly together to provide coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular check-ups and developmental screenings to monitor the health and progress of our young patients.
• Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes.
• Provide immunizations and preventative care services according to established guidelines to contribute to public health and community wellbeing.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for children with chronic conditions, working closely with families to manage ongoing health needs.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure that all aspects of a child's health are addressed effectively.
• Educate parents and caregivers on topics such as child development, nutrition, and preventive care practices, empowering families to play an active role in their child's health.

Our pediatric practice predominantly serves a diverse population of children in Ponte Vedra Beach and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate will be able to connect with families from various backgrounds and provide culturally competent care. We cater to patients from newborns to adolescents, addressing both acute and chronic health concerns to foster lifelong wellness from an early age.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical institution.
• Active state medical license with board certification in Pediatrics.
• Completion of a three-year residency program in Pediatrics, providing a strong foundation in child health.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with a compassionate bedside manner to effectively engage with children and their families.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities to address a wide range of patient needs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• A commitment to ongoing education and professional growth within the pediatric field.
• No history of board actions that would affect licensure.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a similar outpatient pediatric setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and pediatric therapeutic protocols will aid in the efficiency and consistency of patient care. Involvement in community health initiatives or outreach programs is considered a valuable addition to the skill set.
