Work Environment

This position is fully onsite and requires a proactive approach to patient care through house calls and visits. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with cardiovascular specialists, nurses, and a range of healthcare professionals dedicated to ensuring optimal health outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, consultations, and diagnostic assessments on patients experiencing cardiovascular symptoms and conditions, developing robust patient histories.
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (ECGs), stress tests, and cardiac catheterization procedures to accurately diagnose heart diseases.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate medical management, lifestyle counseling, and procedural interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Execute interventional procedures, including angioplasty and stenting, with a high level of precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient care and seamless transitions.
• Empower patients by educating them about cardiovascular health, preventive strategies, and the management of their conditions, encouraging them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize health outcomes and enhance quality of life.
• Engage in groundbreaking research initiatives and clinical trials to improve therapeutic protocols and broaden treatment options for cardiovascular diseases.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous medical education (CME), involvement in professional conferences, and peer collaborations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will encounter a wide-ranging and diverse patient base, including individuals with varying degrees of cardiovascular health needs. Your expertise will enable you to provide preventative care, management of chronic conditions, and acute interventions, all while fostering trust and communication with patients and their families.

Qualifications

• A Doctor’s degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Board certification in Cardiology is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
• Valid California medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiology setting, with proven proficiency in performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Previous experience in concierge medicine or house-call settings is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth through participation in CME activities.

Compensation and Benefits
