Work Environment

As a Family Medicine Physician at Hometown Medical Center, you will work primarily onsite in our concierge medicine setup, which incorporates the convenience of house calls with the comfort of a modern medical facility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations to accurately diagnose and treat a wide variety of illnesses and injuries.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evidence-based guidelines.
• Prescribe and manage medications as necessary, ensuring patient understanding of their treatment regimen.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work, to inform clinical decisions.
• Manage ongoing care for chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, with an emphasis on patient education and self-management.
• Provide preventive health care services, performing routine immunizations and health screenings to promote overall wellness.
• Engage patients in lifestyle modification discussions to enhance their health and prevent disease.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and refer patients to specialists when needed.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Board certification in Family Medicine is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in a family medicine practice with a strong record in patient care.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.
• Ability to engage effectively with a team of healthcare providers in a collaborative practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in concierge and/or house call medicine is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR) to ensure efficient patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
