Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, assessing patients' medical histories and anesthesia needs to formulate personalized anesthesia plans.
• Administer diverse types of anesthesia—ranging from general to regional anesthesia—utilizing advanced techniques and monitoring equipment for optimal patient comfort.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and fluid balance during surgical procedures, making real-time adjustments to anesthesia levels as required.
• Effectively manage any anesthesia-related emergencies or complications, demonstrating swift decision-making to protect patient well-being.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team to create a seamless perioperative experience, ensuring coordinated patient care.
• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care, overseeing patients' recovery, managing pain relief, and addressing any post-operative concerns.
• Document all aspects of anesthesia care meticulously in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuous patient care and compliance with medical protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in anesthesia by participating in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality and quality assurance as per organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctor’s degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in Anesthesiology.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist in Nevada.
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Demonstrated proficiency in a comprehensive array of anesthesia techniques and equipment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient education.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience preferred, showcasing your ability to handle complex anesthesia cases effectively.
