Conduct thorough nephrology evaluations to identify and treat kidney-related ailments, including gathering detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work, imaging studies, and kidney biopsies, enabling precise assessments of kidney function and progression of kidney disease.
Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, integrating medication management, dietary recommendations, and other necessary interventions to optimize patient health.
Monitor patients with chronic kidney disease, devising strategies to slow its progression and prevent complications through proactive and continuous care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, urologists, and other specialists, ensuring integrated and holistic care for patients.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding kidney disease management, highlighting treatment options and promoting renal-friendly lifestyle choices.
Engage in research activities and clinical trials aimed at advancing nephrology practices, thereby contributing to overall medical knowledge and patient care innovations.
Maintain meticulous medical records, ensuring documentation is precise and compliant with healthcare regulations.
The Nephrologist will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals suffering from chronic kidney disease, hypertension, glomerular disorders, and those needing dialysis management or renal transplantation services. Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology, demonstrating recognized excellence in the field.
An active medical license to practice in the state of Arizona, ensuring compliance with all local healthcare regulations.
Proven ability to diagnose and manage a variety of kidney diseases, particularly chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and glomerular diseases.
Experience in managing patients undergoing dialysis and those needing evaluation for renal transplant.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and clinical teams.
A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Nephrologist, particularly in a concierge medicine or similar patient-focused environment.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $300,000 to $400,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to performance-based bonuses.
