Work Environment

You will work onsite in our outpatient office in Meridian, a vibrant community known for its welcoming environment. Here, you will collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals in a supportive and collegial atmosphere. Our standard operating hours are 8:30 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:30 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, allowing for flexible scheduling options to meet both patient and provider needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional primary care to patients of all ages, utilizing evidence-based practices to diagnose and manage a full spectrum of health conditions.
• Conduct thorough office visits for routine check-ups, acute health issues, and personalized wellness consultations.
• Perform comprehensive annual wellness visits, emphasizing preventive care and health risk assessments to ensure proactive patient management.
• Execute comprehensive physical examinations to diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries accurately.
• Develop tailored treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications, keeping in mind the individual health profiles of each patient.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab results, working collaboratively with other specialists as necessary.
• Manage ongoing care and treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, ensuring that patients achieve their health goals.
• Participate in patient care rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights on care management with the Care Team and ensuring consistent follow-ups on care strategies.

The Family Medicine Physician will care for a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in Idaho, maintaining a clean disciplinary record.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, showcasing your commitment to high standards of care.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a family medicine setting, highlighting your ability to manage a diverse array of patient cases.
