Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility, providing Internal Medicine services to a diverse patient population. You will work closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, including specialists and nursing staff, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence in medical care. Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients dealing with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity, as well as acute illnesses.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic procedures, interpreting lab and imaging results to guide clinical decisions.
• Implement preventative health measures and advocate for lifestyle changes to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with specialists as necessary to achieve seamless patient management.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans in accordance with compliance regulations.
• Deliver educational resources and guidance to patients regarding disease prevention and health optimization strategies.
• Stay informed about innovative medical practices and advancements in the field of internal medicine through continuous professional development and participation in relevant medical conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position revolves around delivering outstanding healthcare to adult patients within the El Paso community. You will navigate a rich tapestry of medical needs, from preventive care to managing complicated, multi-factorial health issues. Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Active board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Possess a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, though newly board-certified physicians are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency in outpatient care delivery, chronic disease management, and preventive healthcare practices.
• Exhibit strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making abilities with a patient-centered focus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and essential medical documentation protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Two years or more of hands-on clinical experience in an internal medicine setting is preferred to enhance patient care delivery.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and engaging with diverse patient populations is a plus.
