Work Environment

Our clinic’s onsite setting fosters a collaborative and professional atmosphere where healthcare professionals can thrive. The position operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for various pain conditions.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to manage pain, including physical therapy, medication management, and interventional pain procedures.
• Perform interventional procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive techniques to treat pain.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients, addressing their concerns and involving them in their treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and best practices to improve patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and ensure compliance with established medical protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain syndromes. You will work closely with patients from varying backgrounds, ages, and health statuses, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your approach to management and treatment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Illinois.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Management is required.
• Fellowship training in Pain Management is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in pain management or related field is preferred; newly board-certified physicians are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in performing interventional pain procedures, with a strong foundation in both diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care.
