Work Environment

As an Internal Medicine Physician in our outpatient office setting, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life schedule, free from regular weekend obligations. The facility is designed to facilitate efficient patient care, equipped with modern medical technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline operations and enhance the patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and specialized medical care to adult patients, focusing on comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and personalized treatment strategies.
• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, and order diagnostic testing when necessary to ensure accurate patient evaluations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective health outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions, ensuring clarity and accuracy in medication management and patient instructions.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate ongoing patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between services and comprehensive support.
• Educate patients and their families about preventive care, health promotion, and important self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in internal medicine or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in patient education and health coaching to effectively impart knowledge about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• A strong grasp of medical principles, procedures, and practices.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and medical documentation processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with experience in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and health informatics will be given preference. Familiarity with integrated care models and community health resources can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
