Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and medical consultations for patients of all ages, utilizing advanced medical instruments and diagnostic equipment, while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Develop comprehensive patient care plans, including conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, ordering imaging, and determining necessary referrals to specialists.
• Prescribe appropriate treatment protocols, manage medications, and administer necessary vaccinations in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients on best practices for health maintenance, chronic disease management, and strategies for preventative care, enhancing overall patient engagement and understanding.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively, maintaining accurate medical records that outline examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate effectively with specialists, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for patients, facilitating seamless communication and improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role allows you to provide care to a diverse range of patients, from pediatric through geriatric populations, addressing both common and complex medical conditions. You will play a critical role in fostering trust and understanding among culturally diverse patient groups, promoting health literacy, and adapting care strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Family Practice, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to maintaining high standards of medical practice.
• A valid medical license to practice as a Family Physician in the state of New York.
• An understanding of and commitment to serving diverse populations, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence in healthcare delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a family practice or primary care setting, with a strong emphasis on outpatient care.
• Previous experience working in a hospital environment or clinic setting that supports a collaborative and patient-centered approach to health care.

Compensation and Benefits
