Work Environment

This onsite position is based in Quincy, Massachusetts, where our clinic operates with a focus on delivering tailored care. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend and evening shifts when required. Our office is designed to be child-friendly and accommodating, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and parents. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside experienced nurses, specialists, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations with patients to obtain medical histories and identify their healthcare needs.
• Perform thorough patient assessments to diagnose conditions and administer appropriated treatments.
• Create and manage comprehensive wellness plans tailored to each child’s unique needs, focusing on preventive care and health promotion.
• Offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices related to nutrition, exercise, and sleep to both children and their parents.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient records to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions as appropriate.
• Respond promptly to any urgent medical needs that arise during patient visits, ensuring immediate attention is given.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to children from infancy through adolescence, addressing a wide range of health concerns. We aim to create supportive environments where pediatric patients feel comfortable discussing their health issues, allowing for open, therapeutic communication. The diverse cases you’ll encounter will include routine wellness checks, chronic illness management, and acute care scenarios, providing an enriching experience in your pediatric career.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• A valid and unrestricted medical state license in Massachusetts.
• At least two years of practical experience in pediatric medicine, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests pertinent to pediatric care.
• In-depth knowledge across various pediatric specialties, including general pediatrics, neonatology, and pediatric subspecialties.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a keen ability to convey medical information to children and their families.
• A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and remaining detail-oriented in documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a concierge or house call medical practice is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and care processes.
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
