Work Environment

Our practice specializes in concierge medicine and house call services, offering an innovative approach to pediatric care. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, consisting of a dedicated team that includes nine mid-level providers alongside another physician. Our facilities are designed to support outpatient care, with no obligations for in-hospital rounding or hospital calls. You will utilize our advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and telemedicine platforms to streamline patient interactions and recordkeeping, ensuring efficiency and quality in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations of pediatric patients, carefully assessing each child’s health status.
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic medical conditions, developing tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide preventive care, encompassing routine vaccinations and developmental screenings, to promote lasting health in children.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including mid-level providers and specialists—to guarantee comprehensive care for complex conditions.
• Maintain clear and open lines of communication with parents and caregivers, addressing their concerns, providing guidance, and educating them about their child's health.
• Regularly monitor growth and developmental milestones, offering advice on healthy lifestyle choices and interventions when needed.
• Utilize EMR systems to keep meticulous records and engage in virtual consultations, thus enhancing accessibility for families.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and refine care strategies, staying at the forefront of pediatric healthcare practices.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and adhere to state and federal medical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our pediatric practice caters primarily to medically complex children requiring specialized care. As a Pediatrician at Young & Healthy Pediatrics, you will work closely with these families to provide holistic assistance, tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted medical state license.
• Successful completion of a Pediatric residency program.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and manage patient care effectively.
• Strong commitment to a compassionate approach in delivering care to children and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience providing outpatient care to pediatric patients, emphasizing those with complex medical needs.
• Familiarity with EMR and telemedicine systems, ensuring a seamless transition to our workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster partnerships with families and caregivers.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 225,000 to USD 275,000 annually, complemented by the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses based on performance. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
