This role is based onsite at a state-of-the-art hospital located in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the directing and coordination of all activities within the Anesthesia Department to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Manage the medical care of patients undergoing procedures that require anesthesia by ensuring they remain unconscious and pain-free.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including detailed patient history evaluations and physical examinations.
• Secure and validate informed patient consent before any anesthetic intervention.
• Administer anesthesia during surgeries, overseeing the induction, maintenance, and emergence phases to minimize patient risk.
• Constantly monitor patients’ physiological status throughout procedures, using advanced monitoring equipment and techniques.
• Execute clinical interventions as required to address any complications arising during anesthesia administration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will encounter a wide variety of medical conditions and surgical requirements, allowing for a rich experience in anesthesiology. Qualifications

• Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine.
• Meet the requirements for ECFMC and FLEX for licensure.
• Have completed an accredited residency program in anesthesiology.
• Possess a current and valid medical license to practice in the State of California.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as an anesthesiologist in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with diverse anesthesia techniques and pharmacology.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining high standards of medical ethics and patient safety.

Compensation and Benefits
