This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art facility within a modern hospital setting in Cincinnati, Ohio. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive eye examinations, evaluating visual acuity and overall ocular health using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies, such as visual field tests and retinal imaging.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions and diseases, delivering tailored treatment options that may include prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, or pharmacological therapies.
• Engage in specialized optometric care for various demographics, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients requiring specialty lenses or treatments.
• Educate patients on preventative care practices, including the significance of regular eye exams, contact lens maintenance, and techniques to mitigate digital eye strain.
• Communicate and collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and make referrals to specialists when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations, documenting all examinations, treatments, and outcomes to improve continuity of care.
• Stay current with advancements in the field of optometry by participating in continuing education and attending relevant workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an optometry setting.

Compensation and Benefits
