Work Environment

The Interventional Cardiologist will work primarily within our hospital setting, collaborating closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team comprised of cardiologists, nurses, radiology technicians, and support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Expertly diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular diseases utilizing catheter-based procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional techniques.
• Conduct consultations to assess patient needs and create individualized treatment plans, facilitating informed choices regarding their care.
• Interpret diagnostic test results, such as echocardiograms and cardiac catheterizations, to develop effective therapeutic strategies.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient management that integrates various disciplines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in interventional cardiology, and integrate these developments into clinical practice to enhance patient care.
• Participate actively in continuous medical education (CME), contributing to professional development and compliance with licensure requirements.
• Provide education and support to patients and families about cardiovascular health, treatment options, and necessary post-operative care to empower them in their health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Interventional Cardiologist will primarily serve a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of cardiac conditions. This includes patients experiencing acute myocardial infarctions, chronic coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and peripheral vascular conditions. Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• A valid state medical license in Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits
