This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Laredo. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cardiac catheterization procedures and evaluate patients for interventional procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and electrocardiograms, and provide accurate interpretations of test results.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
• Administer medications and perform various medical procedures, including phlebotomy and catheterization, while ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Provide thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that patients understand their treatment and recovery protocols.
• Utilize our advanced electronic medical records system for meticulous documentation of all patient encounters and procedures.
• Engage in patient education and health coaching to empower individuals to manage their cardiac health effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse patient population in Laredo and the surrounding areas, addressing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, including those with chronic heart diseases, acute cardiac events, and those requiring preventive care. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution
• Board Certified in Cardiology, with a strong foundation in Interventional Cardiology
• Current medical license valid in Texas, with active hospital privileges preferred

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional cardiology or a related field
• Training or experience in cardiac electrophysiology, echocardiography, or use of cardiac event monitors is highly desirable
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems to enhance workflow efficiency

Compensation and Benefits
