Work Environment

As a Cardiologist working onsite in our outpatient office, you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including experienced cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff. Our practice encourages a stimulating work culture where teamwork and continuous learning are emphasized. The office operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for evening and weekend hours as needed to accommodate patient consultations and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical history reviews, comprehensive physical examinations, and the interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and manage various cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart conditions.
• Perform and analyze cardiac tests and imaging studies, including echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms, and cardiac catheterizations, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate medication prescriptions, lifestyle modifications, and interventions to manage cardiac conditions effectively.
• Engage in interventional procedures, such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient management.
• Educate patients about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and self-management strategies to facilitate informed health choices.
• Contribute to clinical research and participate in trials to explore innovative treatment methods and advancements in the field of cardiology.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
• Fellowship training in cardiology from an accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or an equivalent body.
• Active and valid medical license to practice cardiology in New York State.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
• Proficient in performing and interpreting various cardiac imaging and diagnostic tests.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 500,000 to 600,000, commensurate with experience.
