Position Overview

The Global Life Internal Medicine Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in New Britain, Connecticut. This full-time position will provide the opportunity to deliver high-quality outpatient care to diverse patient populations, focusing particularly on underserved communities. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite but includes aspects of telehealth to enhance patient accessibility and care coordination. Our clinic fosters a flexible work environment that values work-life balance, offering opportunities for custom scheduling with potential shifts of 8, 10, or even 12 hours to accommodate personal preferences. You will work alongside a collaborative care team that supports each other to maximize patient outcomes while ensuring your professional growth and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly manage a comprehensive range of patient care services, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and develop management plans for chronic diseases, including conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, including Advanced Practice Clinicians, to ensure optimal and coordinated patient care.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.
• Educate patients about preventive health measures and strategies to manage their health effectively.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities relevant to your practice.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical license in the State of Connecticut.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted DEA License and State CDS license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping and patient management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Several years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, particularly in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with underserved populations and understanding the unique challenges they face.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package reflects our commitment to quality care and competitive industry standards. The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 200,000 to 300,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
