Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients presenting with a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms and conditions, utilizing an array of diagnostic tools.
Perform a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and advanced techniques such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Provide expert consultation and management for gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medical management, lifestyle changes, and procedural interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and seamless transitions between levels of service.
Effectively interpret and communicate test results, including laboratory findings and imaging studies, to patients and their families, while explaining diagnoses and treatment options comprehensively.
Monitor patients' progress with ongoing follow-up care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and addressing any arising complications or concerns.
Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuous medical education (CME) activities, national conference participation, and relevant research initiatives.
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in our electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring comprehensive medical records for all patients.
Your practice will involve a diverse patient population experiencing a variety of gastrointestinal health issues, providing a rich opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute meaningfully to patients' health outcomes. This role places an emphasis on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a concierge medicine framework, ensuring that each patient feels valued and understood.
A Doctor’s Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school, with a valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts.
Completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship program.
Demonstrated clinical experience managing gastrointestinal disorders and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective patient interactions and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge in gastroenterology.
Experience in concierge medicine or similar patient-centered care models is highly desirable.
Involvement in clinical research or academic settings, contributing to advancements in gastrointestinal health.
Experience with health technology applications, including EHR systems, to ensure accurate patient documentation and care provision.
