Active Aging Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician specializing in Geriatrics to join our team in El Paso, Texas. This position is on-site at our state-of-the-art hospital, fully equipped to serve geriatric patients. The hospital provides a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging teamwork amongst primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and support staff to create individualized care plans. You will have the opportunity to work primarily with elderly patients, each bringing their own complexities to care, from multi-morbidity challenges to psychosocial issues. Understanding the need for empathy and patience, you will develop trusting relationships that promote open communication, vital for effective treatment and health outcomes.
Experience in a geriatric care setting, particularly in a hospital or multidisciplinary health care practice, is preferred. Familiarity with team-based care and an understanding of the social determinants of health as they relate to aging adults will be beneficial.
The compensation package is highly competitive, with a salary ranging from USD 190,000 to 260,000 annually. Additional benefits include a 401k plan with a 4% employer match, relocation assistance, generous paid time off of 20 days plus holidays, and support for continuing medical education (CME) to foster your professional development.
