Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, assessing patients’ medical histories, current health status, and anesthesia needs to tailor individualized care plans.
• Design and implement personalized anesthesia strategies, considering factors such as age, medical condition, and the complexity of surgical procedures.
• Administer diverse anesthesia types including general, regional, and local anesthesia while utilizing cutting-edge monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Closely observe and manage patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout the surgical process, adjusting medications as required to maintain stability.
• Prepare to handle anesthesia-related emergencies, employing swift and effective measures to secure patient well-being during operations.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure cohesive perioperative care and facilitate efficient procedures.
• Oversee post-anesthesia recovery, managing pain relief and addressing any concerns or complications that arise.
• Accurately document all anesthesia-related care in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in anesthesia techniques, medications, and technology.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality while adhering to all medical policies and legal compliance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. Our patients range from those requiring minor surgeries to those with more complex medical histories. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Active medical license in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
