Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our partner hospital facility in Phoenix, AZ. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork among healthcare professionals. You will engage with other specialists, nurses, and support staff to foster a seamless flow of communication and patient management. Operating within established office hours allows for a balanced work-life dynamic, with office hours from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct office visits for both routine and acute medical issues, providing timely evaluations and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive annual wellness visits and health risk assessments, requiring a thoughtful and accurate approach to documentation and patient care.
• Execute thorough physical examinations to diagnose and treat various illnesses, ensuring all findings are recorded in detail.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and prescribe medications that align with best practices and patient preferences.
• Interpret diagnostic test results, including imaging and laboratory screenings, to inform clinical decisions.
• Manage ongoing care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma with a focus on patient education and lifestyle modification.
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds, effectively communicating management strategies to the care team.
• Collaborate with team members to refine care plans continuously, ensuring alignment with patient goals and medical evidence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working closely with a diverse patient population, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare. You will engage with patients from various backgrounds, ages, and health conditions, understanding their unique challenges and working collaboratively to develop solutions that enhance their health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Arizona, coupled with a clean disciplinary record.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, reflecting your commitment to clinical excellence.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in family medicine or internal medicine, demonstrating your ability to address diverse patient scenarios.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to deliver accurate diagnoses and devise effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a multidisciplinary care setting is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record systems and other healthcare technologies which enhance patient documentation and communication. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $220,000 to $300,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
