Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments through detailed medical history reviews and physical examinations, ensuring accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and imaging techniques, including echocardiograms, stress tests, angiograms, and cardiac catheterizations, to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and manage a wide array of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and vascular disorders, developing tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Execute interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation while ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team, including cardiologists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, and support staff, to develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health, disease management strategies, and preventive measures, fostering a proactive approach to health.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives and trials, contributing to the advancement of cardiology knowledge and practices.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, documenting all patient interactions through our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cardiology through professional development activities and continuous education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical institution.

• A valid medical license to practice cardiology in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits
