Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office setting in Plano, Texas, where you will work approximately 40-45 hours each week, from Monday to Friday, with typical hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed nephrology evaluations and comprehensive physical examinations, capturing thorough patient medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory tests, imaging studies, and kidney biopsies to accurately diagnose and monitor various kidney diseases.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management and lifestyle modifications tailored to each patient.
• Manage the progression of chronic kidney disease, providing interventions aimed at slowing deterioration and improving quality of life.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, incorporating insights from primary care physicians, urologists, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient management.
• Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and strategies for effective self-management.
• Engage in research initiatives and clinical trials that contribute to the ongoing evolution of nephrology practices and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing kidney-related disorders, including acute and chronic conditions.
• Extensive experience with managing dialysis and preparing patients for renal transplantation is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
