Qualifications: Detailed knowledge of automotive and tire products REQUIRED.
Previous sales experience required (1 - 2 years minimum). Ability to efficiently use computer and remote device (smart phone/tablet) with software; travel within assigned territory, use and maintain route books, good communication skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Sales and Growth: Increase sales with existing accounts and build business with new accounts. Deliver excellence in customer service by providing information to customers on new and existing products and pricing. Promote all products. Authorize return goods in accordance with company policies. Remain alert to competitive products and merchandising practices and maintain up to date customer records.
Service: Establish and maintain effective and respectful relationships with customers and provide outstanding customer service by having an account ownership mentality. Focus on account retention and seek opportunities to improve the service provided to each customer. Practice attentive and active listening and communicate effectively.
Route Based Responsibilities: Operate Company vehicle safely and courteously while following the rules of the road. Verify the daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and keep the interior of the vehicle clean, organized and safely maintained. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle exterior.
Accountability: Responsible for and respectful of customer and Company assets. Timely communication with customer and Company. Maintain and use detailed customer purchasing history to support consistent sales and encourage growth.

Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding and safety violations Required.
