About the Transitions Opioid Treatment Program

Transitions provides comprehensive, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals living with opioid use disorder. Our program combines FDA-approved medications-such as methadone and buprenorphine-with a full range of wraparound services, including individual counseling, group therapy, case management, mental health support, and nursing care.

Our mission is to meet each client where they are in their recovery journey. We aim to prevent overdose, ease withdrawal symptoms, stabilize brain chemistry, reduce cravings, and support clients in achieving their personal goals and building a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What You'll Do

  • Provide professional, friendly front-desk service to clients and visitors.
  • Manage client check-ins, update forms (e.g., demographics, insurance), collect payments, and schedule appointments.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Assist with referrals to internal programs and services.
  • Support clear, consistent communication across departments.
  • Perform general administrative duties (filing, phones, scheduling, referrals).
  • Conduct same-sex urine drug screens as part of treatment plans.
  • Track, document, and bill all urine drug screens completed.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and respectful engagement with all clients.
  • Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.

Requirements of the Position

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least one (1) year of progressive business and/or administrative training is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of direct service to the target population or other related human service experience is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of triaging high volume calls highly preferred.
  • Requires basic to Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as G-Suite.
  • Familiarity with mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
