Full- time Medical Technologist in Chicago    IL for Trinity Laboratory & Diagnostic Center

Work Schedule:

Full-time; Work-Life Balance; Flexible Scheduling (potential for 8, 10, or possibly even 12-hour shifts)!

Salary:

$70k to $100k a year

Job Responsibilities:

• Collecting and preparing blood, urine, and tissue samples for analysis.
• Examining collected samples and identifying any cell abnormalities.
• Maintaining laboratory inventory levels and, if necessary, placing orders for new supplies.
• Preparing detailed reports about your test results and findings.
• Documenting and reviewing the tested data.
• Ensuring that all tissue samples are prepped for examination.
• Collaborating with pathologists and other medical specialists to determine the correct diagnosis if cell abnormalities are discovered.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Presenting test results to physicians, researchers, and/or patients.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
• Licensed Medical Technologist
• Willing to be trained
