Key Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare various biological samples, including blood, urine, and tissue, ensuring precise handling and processing for accurate analysis.
• Examine collected samples for cell abnormalities, utilizing advanced laboratory techniques and equipment to ensure accurate diagnostics.
• Maintain laboratory inventory levels by regularly assessing stock and efficiently placing orders for supplies to avoid disruptions in testing.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing test results, findings, and necessary follow-up procedures to aid physicians in patient treatment plans.
• Document and review tested data meticulously, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations as well as internal protocols.
• Ensure that all tissue samples are adequately prepared for examination and maintain rigorous quality control in all laboratory processes.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other medical specialists whenever cell abnormalities are detected, contributing to accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment by adhering to established health and safety protocols and regulations.
