Mental Health Counselor – Hospital Setting | $90,000–$120,000/year
We’re hiring a Mental Health Counselor to join our hospital-based behavioral health team in Los Angeles, CA. Position Details:
- Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to patients
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support patient well-being
- Respond to mental health crises and provide timely interventions
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with hospital standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) in California
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings is a plus
- Strong crisis management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
