We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team at Healing Hearts Diagnostic and Counseling Center. Conduct initial assessments and gather comprehensive client histories to inform treatment planning.
Create and implement therapeutic treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Utilize Simple Practice to maintain accurate and confidential records, manage scheduling, and communicate with clients.
Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to facilitate professional growth and development.
Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.
Our counselors serve a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. By taking a holistic and individualized approach, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will play a crucial role in transforming clients' lives through therapeutic techniques designed to empower and foster resilience.
A valid license in Mental Health Counseling (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy, preferably with diverse populations.
Strong skills in treatment planning and execution of effective therapy strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients effectively.
Capable of performing remote therapy sessions using video conferencing tools.
Experience providing psychotherapy in remote or telehealth settings is highly desirable.
Background in working with specific populations (e.g., addiction, trauma, family dynamics) will be viewed favorably.
A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
No overhead costs—Counselors do not pay fees and retain the bulk of therapy revenue.
Sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 for eligible candidates.
