Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Remote Opportunity with a Community Focus

Serenity Support Services is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans that encompass pre-crisis and crisis management strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment protocols.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly, adhering to state and federal regulatory standards.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools and clinical practices to support clients effectively during intake and ongoing treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive positive behavior support plans, optimizing patient care processes.
• Participate actively in all licensing and accreditation activities, remaining informed on best practices and compliance measures.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients by coordinating their care with various community agencies, state systems, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and constructive communication channels to fulfill contract requirements and support the strategic mission of Serenity Support Services.
• Establish and nurture relationships with external agencies, facilitating partnerships that enhance service delivery and identify new operational opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through conferences, workshops, and representation of the agency at statewide task forces and committees.
• Embody and advocate the principles and philosophy of the agency in all interactions and presentations.
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals coping with mental health disorders, those requiring substance use recovery support, and clients experiencing the effects of developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Our approach is holistic and person-centered, tailored to each individual's needs to ensure they receive the best care possible.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in the field of mental health or a related discipline is required.
• An Independent LMHC license is a must to practice in Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within community health settings is advantageous.
• Proficiency in integrating evidence-based practices into treatment and support plans.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and licensing processes in Massachusetts.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
