Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account co-occurring medical conditions, ensuring a full understanding of each patient's unique situation.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate both psychiatric and medical strategies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies that cater specifically to the varied needs of our patient population.
• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals to create a unified care approach, regularly updating them on patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention strategies for patients in urgent need during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Minimum two years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically with individuals managing co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries while fostering trust with clients.

Preferred Experience
