Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or any location that suits you. Our online platform is designed to facilitate seamless interactions with clients, utilizing secure and user-friendly technology to ensure both effective communication and confidentiality. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule while also allowing for some flexibility in your daily routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and client progress, employing evidence-based methodologies to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, engaging in regular consultations to discuss client care strategies and share insights that foster a holistic approach to therapy.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations to protect client confidentiality in all interactions.
• Continuously update your knowledge on current trends and advances in mental health therapy, participating in training and professional development opportunities provided by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families, each presenting unique challenges and needs. Your role will involve understanding the cultural and socio-economic factors that influence mental health and tailoring your therapeutic approach accordingly. By providing empathetic support and effective coping strategies, you will empower clients to achieve their mental health goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active California license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to practice without supervision.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating your capacity to handle a variety of client situations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored for virtual therapy settings.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a telehealth or remote therapy position is a distinct advantage, showcasing your ability to manage virtual assessments and interventions effectively.
• Demonstrated experience working with systems such as electronic health records (EHR) that ensure efficient tracking of client notes and treatment plans.
• A strong understanding of diverse therapeutic modalities and their applicability across different patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits
