Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, which enables flexibility while promoting a healthy work-life balance. You will operate within a community health clinic framework, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams consisting of other mental health professionals, social workers, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care. Regular virtual meetings and check-ins will be scheduled to ensure that you remain well-connected with your team and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions utilizing telehealth technologies to assess client needs effectively and provide appropriate interventions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans based on the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment adjustments using our secure electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with your care team to ensure a holistic approach to treatment that encompasses mental, emotional, and social well-being, while actively participating in case consultations and team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring client safety and stability through effective communication and support.
• Stay current on evidence-based practices and integrate new therapeutic techniques into sessions to enhance client treatment outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Our clients range from children to adults, each with their unique stories and challenges. This role provides an excellent opportunity to facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships and witness tangible improvements in clients’ lives as you guide them through their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• Active California license in one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, providing therapy to a diverse clientele.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining a high level of clinical care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and fostering trust with clients.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records for client documentation and follow-up.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms, particularly during the pandemic and post-pandemic context.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Experience with group therapy facilitation and community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
