Working with Levan Point Counseling means becoming part of a supportive, online community. Our role as a Telehealth provider allows our counselors to operate completely remotely, with the flexibility to manage their own schedules. You will utilize our user-friendly counselor portal, an integrated platform that facilitates scheduling, client management, and telehealth sessions, making it easy to provide exceptional service to your clients.
Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Utilize various solution-based therapeutic modalities to create personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.
Engage clients in developing personal insights into their emotions and relationships, using active listening, empathy, and therapeutic techniques.
Monitor client progress throughout their treatment, providing ongoing support and implementing adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Assist clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.
Your role will involve working with a diverse population seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and more. As an LPC, you will be instrumental in guiding clients toward their personal goals for mental wellness while fostering a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment.
Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field, demonstrating a comprehensive foundation in mental health theories and practices.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, with the capacity to practice independently without supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients.
Proficiency in technology, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and maintain a secure and organized counseling practice.
While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a telehealth setting or those familiar with solution-based therapeutic modalities will have an advantage. Additional training or certifications in specific therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is also beneficial.
