Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) for Community Health Clinic

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing our therapists to provide care from the comfort of their preferred environments while maintaining regular connection with colleagues and clients. You will have access to the necessary resources and technology to manage your caseload effectively and maintain high standards of clinical documentation. Our regular business hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend and evening appointments based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify client needs and develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address the unique needs of each client, with the goal of fostering significant personal growth and healing.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards to protect client confidentiality.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, sharing insights and strategies to create an integrated care experience for clients.
• Participate in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical competence and improve patient outcomes through collective knowledge and best practices.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health care, continually refining your therapeutic techniques to provide the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of New Jersey, demonstrating your professional qualifications.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused interventions and psychotherapy techniques, enabling you to customize treatment plans for your clients effectively.
