Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop appropriate, tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions to address various mental health issues.
• Perform mental health screenings and evaluations to ascertain both treatment needs and progress.
• Establish and maintain a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, encouraging open communication.
• Listen actively to clients’ concerns, goals, and feedback to continually adjust treatment strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the client’s unique history and needs.
• Meet regularly with clients for therapy sessions, tracking progress and dynamically updating treatment plans as necessary.
• Contribute to the professional atmosphere of the practice by participating in team meetings, providing feedback, and engaging in peer consultations.

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, behavioral challenges, and co-occurring substance-related issues. Your work will particularly impact those navigating family dynamics, relationship challenges, and personal crises. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work.
• An active license in their respective field: LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• A robust understanding of contemporary counseling theories, methodologies, and best practices.
• A commitment to staying current with trends and innovative approaches in therapy.

Preferred Experience

We highly prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with populations dealing with complex, co-occurring mental and behavioral health challenges.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, especially for clients facing substance use disorders.
