Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as low self-esteem, familial challenges, addiction, and suicidal ideation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress, utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and analysis.
• Collaborate with clients’ families to monitor treatment responses and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring a comprehensive support network.
• Provide crisis intervention and diversion strategies for clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing skills to de-escalate situations effectively.
• Refer clients to specialized care such as psychiatrists or substance use disorder specialists when additional assessments or interventions are required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals with various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral disorders, and substance use disorders. Our diverse clientele ranges from children and adolescents to adults facing unique challenges in their personal or professional lives. You will be pivotal in empowering these individuals to overcome barriers and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.
• Professional licensure is required: either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Must have no history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third-party organization.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, especially within telehealth practices, is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working with a diverse clientele, particularly in addressing issues related to substance use and mental health recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
