Noble Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional remote mental health services to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own workspace while utilizing telehealth technologies. Our organization thrives on flexibility and adaptability, while also emphasizing the importance of collaboration among our health professionals. We offer a structured work schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient-specific needs. This position is supported by advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems designed to enhance patient care efficiency and documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that delve into patients' histories, identifying the underlying issues related to their trauma.
• Design and execute personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, integrating approaches that cultivate resilience and effective coping mechanisms.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering patients to process their trauma and develop healthier coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and necessary support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Maintain rigorous documentation practices, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while keeping patient information confidential.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve understanding the unique narratives of each patient, demonstrating empathy, and providing tailored interventions that resonate with their experiences, helping them achieve profound transformations on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to thrive in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and empathy.
• Proficient experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• Strong team collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary framework.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, applicants with a strong foundational understanding of trauma-focused interventions and treatment strategies will also be strongly considered. A background in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
