Position Overview

Vital Care Psychological Services is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a full-time capacity. This remote opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on clients’ lives while delivering evidence-based therapies to improve their mental well-being. The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible and supportive remote working environment. While the core hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, some adaptability in scheduling may occur based on client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for new and returning clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in one-on-one or group settings to effectively support client recovery and growth.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and organized clinical records, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of mental health professionals through regular case consultations and peer review meetings, enhancing the quality of care and fostering professional development.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge to navigate their recovery journey.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practice, further informing your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals across various age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds struggling with a range of mental health issues. You will be instrumental in creating safe and trusting environments where clients can explore their feelings, confront their challenges, and develop strategies for resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and the ability to adapt approaches based on individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building and rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking skills that enhance treatment planning and client care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with experience in outpatient therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, customized to meet the needs of clients facing diverse challenges.
• Experience working with specialized populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals facing severe mental illness.
