Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status to develop effective, personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Provide structured individual therapy sessions using diverse evidence-based modalities, facilitating personal growth and coping strategies for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and consistently evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy to clients who prefer virtual engagement, ensuring that all sessions are comfortable, professional, and confidential.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress notes, adhering to ethical standards and organizational protocols.
• Participate in professional development workshops and trainings to refine clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid state license: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
• A demonstration of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Effective organizational skills with the capability to manage a caseload and handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in teletherapy, with familiarity in using virtual platforms to connect and engage with clients.
• Proven track record in addressing a variety of mental health conditions through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Additional certifications in areas of specialty (e.g., trauma-informed care, couples therapy) will be an advantage.
