Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to operate from the comfort of your own home. We offer flexible scheduling, giving you the freedom to customize your work hours while ensuring a minimum of 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical and compassionate mental health counseling to clients through video sessions, ensuring a safe and welcoming virtual environment.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to understand the needs and goals of your clients, iterating on treatment plans to deliver personalized care.
• Help clients cultivate new coping mechanisms and enhance their problem-solving and communication skills, guiding them towards improved mental health.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, participating in team meetings to discuss patient care and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who require guidance in managing everyday mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in providing support and guidance to these individuals, helping them navigate their concerns while fostering resilience and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• Ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating a commitment to ethical treatment practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with proficiency in using digital tools for counseling, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• A stable and reliable internet connection to facilitate uninterrupted client sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a remote counseling role and familiarity with telehealth methodologies.
• Proven track record in providing mental health support to adults, especially in outpatient or community settings.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and their application in treatment.
