As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist at iMatter Mental and Wellness Center, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental well-being of low-acuity adults. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional and supportive environment.
We offer flexible work hours to suit your schedule, with both full-time (30+ hours/week) and part-time (5+ hours/week) options available, enabling you to maintain a work-life balance.
You will primarily connect with clients through a user-friendly video chat platform, ensuring accessibility and comfort for both you and the clients.
Your primary task will involve providing ethical and empathetic mental health counseling through video consultations, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and professional standards.
You will conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.
In addition, you will help clients cultivate new coping, problem-solving, and communication skills, empowering them to manage their mental health challenges more effectively.
Your work will focus on stable, low-acuity adults, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives by guiding them through their mental health challenges and helping them achieve personal growth.
A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
You must hold a current state license (e.g., LCMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or PsyD) that allows for independent practice without supervision.
No history of disciplinary actions is acceptable, underscoring the importance of maintaining professional integrity.
Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling are essential for this role.
A reliable and stable Wi-Fi connection is crucial to ensure smooth communication with clients.
Experience in providing mental health counseling to adults, particularly those with low-acuity needs, is preferred.
Familiarity with teletherapy modalities and digital mental health platforms is an advantage, allowing for an efficient delivery of services.
