Work Environment

This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your clinical practice from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our supportive and collaborative team. The role primarily involves direct client interactions via telehealth platforms, providing the convenience of treatment to clients directly in their living environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their unique needs, preferences, and goals are prioritized.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address mood disorders.
• Provide continuous education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to integrated care.
• Stay informed on the latest clinical research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies compliant with all ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing therapeutic skills.
• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting understanding, acceptance, and proactive conversation surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with a diverse range of clients, focusing specifically on those experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your expertise in understanding these disorders will be essential for providing quality care and facilitating recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current licensure in Arizona as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in the mental health field, specifically related to mood disorders.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based practices, particularly CBT and DBT, for effective mood disorder management.
• Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with clients from all backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated success in delivering effective treatment outcomes for clients diagnosed with mood disorders.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and familiarity with collaborative care practices with medical professionals.
• Experience in remote therapy delivery, particularly through telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
