Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse populations, focusing on individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices and developments in the mental health sector.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will engage with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Many of our clients face barriers to accessing mental health care, making your role crucial in providing them with the support and guidance they need.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of experience working as a counselor, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience
