Uplifting Behavioral System LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a fully remote setting. You will typically work from home, connecting with patients and colleagues through secure electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms. Conduct initial assessments to determine the mental health status of patients, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.
Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and challenges.
Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the individual, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or other evidence-based approaches.
Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and providing continuous support and encouragement toward recovery.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
Provide appropriate referrals to external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or specialized therapists when necessary.
Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.
This role will involve working with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present with various mental health challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship difficulties. As part of your commitment to cultural competence, you will adapt therapeutic techniques to respect each client's unique background, beliefs, and experiences.
A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating an ability to effectively manage caseloads and provide high-quality care.
A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Strong crisis management skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.
Experience providing individual and group therapy, with a focus on culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and related computer applications to facilitate efficient clinical documentation.
A demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical guidelines, as well as protecting patient confidentiality.
A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
