Key Responsibilities

• Engaging directly with clients to establish and achieve individualized treatment goals, promoting their mental well-being.
• Delivering prevention-oriented therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing comprehensive treatment plans to ensure effectiveness in client progress.
• Collaborating with additional treatment providers and placement agencies to create an integrated care plan for each client.
• Maintaining accurate session notes and comprehensive documentation to adhere to policy requirements and promote continuity of care.
• Attending regular staff meetings for professional development and to share insights that enhance our team culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. Your role focuses on understanding each client’s unique circumstances and facilitating therapeutic interventions that empower them to lead healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline is mandatory; a master’s degree is preferred for advanced practice.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• A strong ability to build rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
