Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma backgrounds and establish pertinent treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and overall well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel safe and heard.
• Foster open communication and collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to aid in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards through electronic health records (EHR).
• Engage actively in professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and continuous training on the latest trauma-informed practices.
• Stay updated on recent research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality of care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with a diverse array of patients who have been impacted by trauma. This population often includes individuals of various ages and backgrounds, all seeking understanding, support, and healing. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their unique challenges related to trauma, providing a safe space to discuss their experiences and promoting empowerment through effective therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Wisconsin.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused care.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and other technological tools relevant to telehealth.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience applying evidence-based trauma therapies in clinical settings.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote work environment, managing time and responsibilities effectively.
• A background in successfully working within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a collaborative approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
