Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT/LMHC/LICSW) - Remote Opportunity

Position Overview

One Meditation Counseling Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds a valid license as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized diagnostic tools.
• Develop tailored therapeutic strategies that address individual client needs, including interventions for substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, offering emotional support and equipping clients with coping mechanisms and resources necessary for their recovery journeys.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with organizational and legal guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At One Meditation Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Clients often seek support for issues such as emotional distress, trauma recovery, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. You will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their unique experiences and promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, with a demonstrated understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and culturally competent approaches to therapy.
• Ability to deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of diverse client populations.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in crisis intervention, demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and provide effective support in high-stress situations.
• Demonstrated commitment to adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality in all professional interactions.
• History of working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Compensation and Benefits
